On June 12, the RA NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment moderated by Varazdat Karapetyan debated in the first reading the draft law on Making Addendum to the RA Law on Freedom of Information. The RA Deputy Minister of Environment Irina Ghaplanyan presented the draft law. After the debates, the representative of the Government accepted the recommendation.

The draft law on Making Addendum to the RA Land Code authored by the Government was debated in the first reading, presented by the RA Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Arman Udumyan. The draft law was endorsed.

The bill on Amending the RA Law on Local Self-Government authored by the NA deputy Vaghrshak Hakobyan was debated in the first reading.

The position of the Government was positive. The MPs voted for the bill.

The Committee members debated in the first reading the legislative package on Making Amendments and Addenda to the Law on Local Payment of the Automobile Transport Parking and on Making Amendments and Addenda to the Code on the RA Administrative Legal Offences presented by the NA deputies Sisak Gabrielyan, Arusyak Julhakyan, Sona Ghazaryan, Sipan Pashinyan.

The draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Land Code authored by the Government and on Making Amendments and Addenda to the Constitutional Law the RA Electoral Code authored by the deputies of the Government and the NA My Step and Bright Armenia Factions and the two recommendations presented on the enclosed package of the draft laws were debated in the second reading and endorsed them.

By the key speaker’s proposal, the debate of the package of the draft laws on Making Addendum to the Law on Local Self-Self-Government and on Making Addendum to the RA Code on Administrative Legal Offences authored by the NA deputies Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, Nikolay Baghdasaryan, Narek Zeynalyan, Koryun Mkrtchyan was postponed up to two months.
